Ditto, except for the eyebrows. I get mine dyed. Actually, I’m much darker than strawberry, I’m coppery auburny red.
I’m a redhead! Dark red, carpet & curtains. Useta be curly, too, when I was a kid, but now it’s just wavy.
i have long natural curly red hair. and freckles.
I am a strawberry blonde/redhead. Um, there, too. I’m a guy, though.
Why is it that redheaded women are hubba hubba, but redheaded guys are sorry, you’re not my type.
I am a stawberry blonde redhead, but am currently incognito as a blonde. My editor George the conure, who provides my spelling errors (by banging his beaky face into the keyboard) is a redhead of the gleaming scarlet feathers type. Does that mean we are two redheads, or one and a half?
I’m not a redhead, but redheads are hot. That is all.
I am, long wavy copper-red hair.
And my baby brother is living proof that the notion that girls don’t dig red hair too is bunk - if I had as many guys following me around as he does girls, I’d worry about stalkers.
Can I ask fellow redheads a couple of TMI questions?
Speaking of carpets matching curtains… those who say “yes” really-really match, or is one darker than the other? The hair on my head is a few shades darker… The other question is odder…Are any one else’s “short and curlies” not curly, but straight? I’m sure it’s genetics(no Asian genes ftr) but I’ve always wondered if it was colored related.
Strawberry blonde, getting redder.
I started out as a very light blonde in a family of redheads. So of course my brother teased me that I was adopted. I started noticing that I did have red hairs mixed in with my blonde (red hairs are fatter and wavy, blonde are thin and straight) and over the years the red has become more numerous. My two varieties of hair always seems to freak out hairdressers.
I’m short, but not quite 5’2" and I do have green eyes and maybe a few freckles.
Oh, and the carpet matches the curtains.
I have a head like a smacked arse. Orange hair, pale skin on my face except for the cheeks which are beet red.
That’s interesting. My hair appears red/strawberry blonde, but there are no actual red hairs. It’s a fine mix of auburn and blonde. I wonder how many “redheads” have this.
…mmmmmm… red headed women…
drools
HUH?! WHAT?! What were we talkinabout?! Whats that you say? No of course I wasn’t-- … No, of course I just didn’t-- … Oh, yeah? Well… Shut up!
Well, I’m asian, and my hair is absolutely straight. The curlies are not. Straight, I mean. Well, not that they’re gay.
okletsstartover.
I’m asian, and my hair is absolutely straight. Carpet is not… Well, it’s not as straight as my hair, at least, kinda wriggly like an unwound pen spring. So don’t go about assuming that the design of the curtains has to be indentical to the carpet.
Me too, but I keep the hair on my head so short you can’t tell unless you look at my eyebrows.
Another red head.
Though I long preferred “auburn”
I think it dates back to grade 2, when the movie Annie came out.
And my mother gave me a home perm, bought me an Annie locket (in French, no less) sewed me an Annie dress, and then made me wear it.
The scars, the scars.
And the carpet does match the curtains, and I have gotten myself in some, uh, trouble for that.
“Are you a real redhead?”
“I could prove it, but I’d prefer not to”
sigh I fear I no longer qualify. Until I was about nine, I was a true little redhead. best years of my life. It then darkend in some places, and lightend in others. The hair near my forehead are a nice warm yellow blonde, and then in the back of my head its dark brown, and in between is just about every color inbetween that. some of its red, and under good light, the entirety of it looks like a light red. But I can actually say that I have natural purple hair; I swear theres a bit behind one of my ears that a rich violet.
and its all two and a half feet long. and kinda wavy.
I like redheaded dudes.
Yep, that’s how I am…redheads gone wild. But, er, the carpet is still a natural red. So unfair!
Sorry for the multiple posts, but I have to point out that I don’t have purple hair, though.
I’m crashing the party - I’ve been a redhead for over 10 years. I was a blonde before that, and as I tell people - if I was going to have more fun, it would have happened by then.
I’m a redhead, too. Sort of a gold-red shade that’s hard to describe; I’ve never met any one else with this particular shade. (And if you call me strawberry blonde, I’ll smack you. I hate that term.)
