Actually,mine are simple.
Asian BBQ sauce:
4 Tbl hoisin sauce
1 tsp hot chili oil
2 splashes tamari soy sauce
1 splash dark soy sauce
3 shakes ginger powder
3 shake garlic powder
2 pinches Five space powder
mix, spread on boneless skinless chicken, bake 40min at 375 degrees
Green Tea ginger rice:
2 cups green tea
1 cup water
1 Tbs Better Than Bullion chicken stock
1 splash soy sauce
1/2 pat butter
cook according to rice directions.

I went to bed with Melatonin last night around 9. I woke up before 2, and it’s been fitful ever since. Dammit. Plus it’s COLD - 11° in my back yard at the moment.
No clue what today’s plans are, other than finally tending to the dryer vent. We kinda forgot about it on Firday when I wanted to get it cleaned. I’m assuming **FCD **will futz with his gas tank till the Dallas game comes on. As for me, I’ll load the dishwasher with last night’s assorted dirties and I’ll figure out something for tonight’s supper. Maybe I’ll work on the afghan some more, too.

Actually we deheathenate Luterun style as OYKW is actually goin’ with me rather than goin’ to the Whiskypalian service, which is usually what he is wont to do. Anywho, we shall have an early N.O.L. and then he’ll head back to his place to do laundry and such poor thing. Plus he has some paperirky stuff for irk to deal with this afternoon.
Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Also, purtification for deheathenization must commence at some point.

Arkansas left the Union after being asked by the Feds to send 500 men to kill their neighbors, and it was a vote of the state Legislature. SC was the first to go. Was this an act of the legislature, or popular vote? Did SC secede from the seceding by a legislative act or popular vote?

Back from breakfast and from solving a design problem with FCD at work! It’s like the good old days pre-retirement when we’d discuss design issues over a meal. He got it all figured out when we were wandering thru Tractor Supply after we ate.
Right now, he’s getting a fire going in the basement and I will join him shortly as we attack the dryer and vent.
Oh, and we figured out what the slamming noise that I heard earlier this week was - his motorcycle fell over! :eek: No damage done, but I feel better knowing no one had snuck into the house (as if that would happen without Higgs going into full crazy-bark mode!)
