How many resolutions have you broken already in the MMP?

Y’all are making me hungry
and I’m feeling too lazy to cook.

Hell, I’m feeling too lazy to get up and walk to the kitchen to look for something to cook.

I tell you what, y’all cook up some barbeque and send it up to me and as a neutral party in this I’ll let you know what sauce makes the best barbeque.
That’ll work.

I need to get busy, first I eat, then I irk.

Howdy Y’all! All deheathenated and fed. OYKW has gone to his place to do stuff and I am unsupervised. Maybe I"ll go wild and have myself a nappy poo!

I’m at irk. I spent Thursday and Friday at home with a stomach thing (you don’t want to know) and my counterpart at THE OTHER PLACE is on vacay so I came in to get my desk ready for Moanday. I actually like being here on Sunday–it’s quiet and nobody pesters me. Plus I can shlub in jeans and a sweatshirt.

I’ve discovered the joys of the store Fresh Market which is across the street. Today I bought parmesan tilapia which shall be for din-din, a heritage orange (I love those but must test try before I invest in more) and some other stuff that is cool. A new place to spend $$$$$!

Fish farmers put tilapia in a pool dirtied by other fish to clean up the…mess the other fish leave.
I’m so very sorry. :frowning:

Well, dukey butt, your Mother* threw* you on your head, so there.
And she dressed you funny.

Draw the shades, lock the doors, and cook some ribs in brown sugar and Kosher mustard.
It will be Our Little Secret.

And oysters and clams and other shellfish clean the waters they inhabit by filter-feeding - what’s your point? Circle of life and all that.

Your mama had to tie a pork chop around your neck to get the dog to play with you.
:stuck_out_tongue:

I see I must be direct and indelicate.
Tilapia eat shit.

Your Mama is so ugly you couldn’t keep mirrors in your house.

I’ve had an all-day blurf today. Not as good as all-day breakfast, for sure.

I blame the housemates for getting drnuk and talking too loud until about 4 ay em. When [del]I got driven mad and strangled them[/del] they finally shut up [del]I still had to hide the corpses[/del] I still couldn’t sleep. I think I got about 2 hours actual sleep in the end.

I did manage to drag myself out to a seed/potato fair though, which was fun for me, even if it sounds terribly dull to you :stuck_out_tongue:

Speakin’ of which, just in case anyone misses my random allotment rambling, I’m going to try and keep it all on my shiny new blog. It’s got pictures an everything. Anyone know a good reason why I shouldn’t stick a link here?

And “It’s boooring” is not good enough.

We won’t know if your blog is “boooring” unless you link it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I wanna read a boring blog like I want a hole in the head.

[spoiler]
bore
[bawr, bohr]

  3. to form, make, or construct (a tunnel, mine, well, passage, etc.) by hollowing out, cutting through, or removing a core of material:
to bore a tunnel through the Alps; to bore an oil well 3000 feet deep.
  4. Machinery. to enlarge (a hole) to a precise diameter with a cutting tool within the hole, by rotating either the tool or the work.
  5. to force (an opening), as through a crowd, by persistent forward thrusting (usually followed by through or into); to force or make (a passage).
    :D[/spoiler]

So the dog became a vegan just to avoid playing with you.

Making pork chops with sweet potatoes and corn.

Yo momma so fat when she sits around the house, she sits around the house.

Nut, go for it!(the blog link, not the strangling the roomies and burning them in the allotment thing.)

I understood your point. And just what do you think floats in the water that various shellfish filter? As I said, circle of life…

Speaking of eating, we had yummy tuna steaks and a bunch of veggies for supper. Pie later. Dishes are washing. Life is good. Contentment…

OK.

It is kinda boring at the moment though- it’s too wet, windy and cold to do much. Thee forecast even says  snow later in the week.

Anyway, I wouldn’t burn housemates- why waste good organic matter?

I think it’s time to assume the recline position. Anyone wanna take tomorrow??

MWAH!!

doggio, obtaining tamari soy saucewill giveme an excuse (as if I needed one :stuck_out_tongue: ) to peruse the aisles at the international market.

After heathenization today, I had lunch and a good visit with friends at San Antonio Taco Company. Good stuff. Now, I have a pork loin and some sweet N.O.T.s in the oven, seasoned rice ready to start in the rice cooker and some green beans snapped and ready to steam with almonds and mushrooms.

Now that I’m deheathenated, I don’t have any set plans until Wednesday, 5am (when the alarm goes off for work). Feels weird to have so much free time.

DH does have an appointment tomorrow morning, but I’m not involved in that. We will need to do some grocery shopping at some point, but a large chunk of my agenda for the next two days involves two library novels, “1632”, and “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”. I saw the movie version of AL:VH recently, but I’m one of those types who usually enjoys the book more.
