I just found an old piece of music that I wrote with a friend 10 years ago in university. He wrote the lyrics and I wrote the music. It’s a song about how much I like to drink beer. Man, was I silly back in college sometimes. And still now, sometimes, although I no longer write as many songs about booze.
No mention of the vicious Chicken of Bristol?:dubious:
That’s OK. Jimmy Buffet can pick up your slack.![]()
Midget, wait another ten years and look at those college compositions again. I get a laugh, 35 years later, when ever I open my notebook from then.
Word! I look back at some of the stuff I wrote then and wonder what drug I was obviously hopped up on when I wrote that. ![]()
I have my desktop background set to change once a day. Right now I’m using the default Windows 7 themes because I’m feeling lazy. The background just switched over to a waterfall in what I thought at first was a rain forest. Then I noticed the flower on the right side of the screen was a rhododendron. So I minimized everything and took a good long look at the picture.
I have no idea where it was taken, but it was somewhere in my vicinity and I think I’ve been to that waterfall once upon a time.
Twilight Zone music plays
It would really weird if you saw the back of your head in it.
Keeping a vigil here at my computer. Been waiting all night for a message from a friend, who will probably not send a message. There are only a few more hours of this that I can take.
Or else he’s just not home yet.
A bear should know better than to stick his nose in a hornets nest. Ain’t no honey to be found there and nuttin else good either.
As she stared at the screen and became aware that she could not move, SpazCat realized that she was falling into…the Twilight Zone.
I hope to drag my ass out of bed earlier than usual tomorrow. Easier said than done.
I envy people who can get to sleep easily.
