Born and raised on the SW side, moved here for college, and sadly I’ll be leaving in a couple of weeks to go to the SE of the country. It’s finally becoming spring this week! I’m going to go outside and play.
Just wanted to say that the Michigan accent guide is hilarious. Except that I’ve noticed that there must be something strange about the SW side of the state, because all my friends and I have a strange hybrid Michigan - Southern California accent instead of the nasal Chicago overlap. Must be from growing up on the lake.
