I have more filling than tooth in my mouth now. There is almost not enough tooth left to get new fillings. I’ll be getting my four back molars pulled soon, since there’s really no use attempting to repair them again (and getting teeth pulled is the only procedure I’m covered for).
During one week during my final year of high-school (ten years ago) I had eight fillings done. I went to the dentist every second day and had two done each visit. If I ever won the lottery, the first thing I’d spend a lot of money on just for myself would be getting a whole new set of teeth.
Anyhoo…
Turns out I don’t need another filling. Dentist said some of my teeth shifted and I was biting on a couple of old fillings, which was making my teeth hurt. He ground off the fillings so I won’t bite on them any more.
And yes, that was a quick appointment. My dentist rocks!
16 years old, two fillings when I was like six. I remember the dentist put me on laughing gas when he drilled the cavities. It smelled like bubble gum. Wow, I felt so wierd when that happened. And I actually did laugh
.
Then I got braces and now my bite and teeth are perfect, though I do have to wear a retainer fot the rest of my life. Grr.
