How Many US Dead in Afghanistan Since We Invaded?

I see occasional news stories about continuing engagements with Taliban etc.
I was asked “How many American soldiers and CIA have died in Afghanistan to date?”
I’m not sure how to limit my Google search the right way?

Any pointers on how to find the info?
(doesn’t have to relate to a Google search)

I used enduring freedom military casualties on Google, and got the following article:
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/DailyNews/STRIKE_Casualties.html
It lists all US casualties in the “war against terror”.

I also was able to find this listing of US casualties for Operation Enduring Freedom, which lists the location for each individual. You can count up the “Afghanistan” entries for your total. Only one CIA individual is listed, for whatever that’s worth.

The info on these sites doesn’t match up very well though.
The defend America list is longer.

The ABC lists some people who aren’t on the .mil site particularly
• CIA officer Helge Boes, 32, of Washington, D.C.
Boes, an operations officer assigned to the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, was killed Feb. 5, 2003, when a grenade detonated prematurely during a live-fire training exercise in eastern Afghanistan.
