About once a day, a decent-sized helping. I recently started working out about two hours a day, so I’ve been losing inches anyway. I should probably cut back, though - that won’t last forever.
I eat one or two chocolate bars most days, as snacks at work (like a Kit-Kat, say, or a Snickers). I’m not a big one for dessert, though.
I’m pretty active (I cycle to and from work) so I feel I’ve justified some quick energy fixes.
FWIW, my dessert-eating days are limited. My family went a little nuts strawberry picking over Mother’s Day. To avoid spoilage, I made strawberry jam, strawberry pie, strawberry ice cream and two loaves of strawberry bread, plus strawberry cobbler. I’m getting kind of tired of strawberries, so my consumption is waning.
I am so jealous of you people who eat sweets every day! I wish I could get away with that. But even with exercise, it seems that if I eat sweets every day I still seem to put on weight. I know it’s just calories in vs calories out, but for some reason refined carbs really just cause me to pack on the pounds. Unfortunately, I work on a boat with no cardio equipment, so I can’t indulge and then work out and burn off the extra calories…
