How much bandwidth do I really take up?

Something that attrayant posted in this thread got me to wondering: how much bandwidth am I really sucking up when I surf at work?

My boss is always reminding us not to use the Internet “excessively”, because they don’t want to have to upgrade their connection or whatever, but am I really causing a huge drain on the servers by hitting the SDMB several times a day? I don’t download anything, I don’t run chat programs, I basically just run a telnet window to check my home email, and surf the Web. Usually I just surf the SDMB and a couple of gardening Websites. How much drain is this causing, really?

I would have posted this in GQ but it seems like the answer might be pretty subjective so I thought I’d just leave it open for comments, speculation, and anecdotes.
