Connecticut: $5.69 is the very cheapest I can find for Marlboro Lights.
Most packs here in west Michigan are from $4-5.25 a pack.
I buy loose tobacco and a pack of rolling papers for $8. That lasts me about 2 weeks.I do have to buy 3 or 4 more packs of papers during that time though.
I buy loose tobacco and tubes which with a machine you basically get real cigarettes for the price of home rolled
About US$1.60 for a pack of 20 Marlboro Lights (Bahrain)
New York City. Paid $9 for my last pack of Camel Lights.
Well, I never buy smokes in “my town,” unless I’m at a bar and I have no other choice, since I live across the river from Kentucky.
In KY, a carton of American Spirit Yellows is $32-36.00. When I smoke Camels, they were $24-27.00.
$32/carton for gpc light 100s, here. (south Texas).
4.55 including tax for marlboros at my usual place.
I’l get you the exact location later, since i get them off a buddy at work. What i dont know is if they sell a name brand as well, since the ones i buy are in ziploc baggies. Its possible that what your buying is the standard price.
Declan
5-6$ a pack here, which is why I hop on over to Virginia and grab a carton for 36 or so.
In South Carolina, a pack of Marlboros for $2.89 at one chain of gas stations. Usually around $3.20 to $3.40 a pack other places around here.
Anywhere between $6.50-7.00 a pack for name brands. The “cheapie” butts are around $5 a pack.
When I visited KY this summer I nearly cried.
Is that for 10 cigs or for 20? I was under the impression that a “packet” of smokes in Ireland/UK was only 10 smokes for some reason.
$7.50 a pack, last I looked. We have a hefty city sin tax on them.
You can by packs of ten, but the norm is 20. There are moves to ban these 10 packs because they are more likely to be bought by school-children.
Maor brands run from $5.25-$5.75 a pack; what we call “budget butts” or "broke smokes"at my house (GPCs and Basics) are anywhere from $3.50 to $4.50; there are a couple of ultra-cheap brands like Wildhorse and Sierras that cost two and change (mostly sold in those liquor stores that specialize in half-pints of Royal Gate vodka), but they’ve got a nasty taste to them – sort of burned and dusty – so when funds get tight, we smoke roll-ups.
Yeah, that makes sense because when you have a hard time getting smokes when you do get some, you’ll want to get as few as possible.
