Thanks for your posts. I have to admit my original post was out of frustration. I just look at the subjects of so many posts and they’re just complaining. I think a requirement of anyone who posts should be that if your going to complain, then provide a solution. Ripping someone is easy, but give me your solution.

Sounds nice, but there’s nothing I can do but complain. I intensely disapprove of your current administration and the way it has conducted itself in Iraq. I don’t think that will change until the administration changes. Who changes the administration? You guys, not us. We’re powerless.

Well, we’re telling you we don’t like the management. What you do with that info is up to you.
No. Even if one does not have a solution, it’s good to discuss the problem and maybe other can suggest satisfactory solutions. Or perhaps one can come up with a solution through brainstorming with others in the discussion.
Solution to what? How would this apply to say…Bush lying about uranium in his SOTU speech? It’s not a question of solutions it’s a question of being pissed that an unelected president lied his way into an illegal war. How does a “solution” enter into that?
BTW, there is a difference between despising a corrupt administration and despising the American people. It’s a disingenuous and manipulative conflation to say that those who are critical of the government “hate America.”

See I can respect this point of view. What I don’t respect is someone who says… you’re a facist or your president is a pig. Certainly everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I prefer someone who gives reasons to back up their views.
Disliking American policy would be closer than disliking America(ns).
Really guys, you impact everyone on the planet from trade and culture to foreign policy and we’ve got nothing, nothing aside from the hope that the American populace will care enough that their government won’t screw the rest of us over.
Hell, we’d almost want representation within the US system of government if we thought we could get it.
