How much do you know (quiz)

How much do you know about the basics of the US government? Here is a short quiz about our national historic documents and our economic system.

Please take the quiz without reference to any sources other than the knowledge in your head.

I’m betting that Dopers will do much better than the national average, and a lot better than the politicians who took the test!

Be sure to post your scores after you visit the site below, and have fun!

I took this last week after reading a news story referring to the surprisingly poor performance of elected officials who took the test. I got 100%. Does that mean I can be VP now?

90.91% here and I’m a Brit.

78%

I’m above average - barely!

:frowning: Hangs head in shame :frowning:

I missed Question 33 for a score of 96.97%

A pretty fair and comprehensive quiz considering its brevity.

100%

You answered 32 out of 33 correctly — 96.97 %
Missed Questions: Question #27

CMC +fnord!

%66.67. I never cared much for history. Maybe if I’m doomed to repeat it, it will help me remember!

32 for 33 = 96.97%. I missed question 29.

84,85% correct.

Missed on questions: 6, 7, 8, 15 and 25

90.91%

Not to bad considering I was on the phone working while taking the test and I missed some easy ones I would have got if I was paying attention.

Missed 2, for 93.94%. I didn’t know what the anti-Federalists did, and I over-thought the last question, “If taxes equal government spending, then…” I thought they were trying to trick me with the answer that turned out to be right.

96.97%. Missed #33.

72%, just short of an average American. I’m happy with that.

90.91%, and an Australian.

87%. Not bad for a lot of guessing from a grubby unwashed foreigner.

I noticed that Question 33 had no correct answer.

93%. I missed two economic questions.

Missed 4, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15 for a total of 81,82%. Acceptable for a non-US citizen, I hope.

Stupid questions 33. I got all of the right but that one.

81%, but half the ones I missed were due to sloppy thinking. All in all I’m satisfied with my result. Screwed up on the questions themed on abortion, taxes = spending, ‘by and for the people’, economic recession, anti-Federalists, and powers of the federal government.
