I’ve seen the commercials for these beds for years… but they never quote a price… I think that at one point they even gave away a free TV just for getting a catalogue. I figure they must be extremely expensive… just curious as to how much…
The Craftmatic 2 adjustable bed? Not sure, but I found a UK link that priced adustable beds starting at 495 pounds (or about $780 US)
I don’t know how much one costs.
However, I DO think that a spouse proposing to purchase one is grounds for an immediate divorce.

The cost differential between an Ultramatic, Automatic, Systematic, or even a HY-dromatic bed is negligible. Regardless, you’ll be getting lots of tit.
However much the salesman can get from you. The selling techniques of the Craftmatic company have come in for heavy critisism here in the UK. What happens is that the salesman will come round to your houseand probably stay there hours until he gets a sale. He will first quote you a vey high price and then ,if you hesitate, bring the price down. Old tricks such as " I shall phone my manager and try and get a discount for you " and " I can only hold this price for today " are employed . As the main buyers for these beds are elderly people I am afraid that sometimes they will just buy for one of the beds just to get rid of the salesman.
