It was $1.68[sup]9[/sup] here the other day.
Just filled up this afternoon - $2.15.9/gal for regular unleaded at Arco. This is the cheapest price I have seen around here in months.
Saw it for $1.78 today; cheapest it’s been in a couple of months. Most surprisingly, the station right down the street from me dropped six cents a gallon two days before the 4th, when prices usually go up!
$1.85 here in Texas. The price over Memorial Day weekend didn’t go up either, so it may just be a myth about it going up on holidays.
Update
Just filled up this afternoon
now at $1.73
Rural Ohio checking in.
$1.86 as of yesterday.
1.73 - Lexington KY
0.689 $ (CDN) per litre here, so about $1.97 US per gallon. (Actually this was in Mississauga - oddly, this has been the cheapest area lately, when it used to be the most expensive a couple of months ago)
$1.74 per gallon
$1.70[sup]9[/sup] to $1.90[sup]9[/sup] at the Shell at the corner tonight, and the convenience store one light down Montrose usually runs about 3¢ cheaper. This is from the center of Houston - I believe AbbySthrnAccent is in one of our outlying communities - but I could be wrong.
Yep, So. Cal. prices seem to be holding at $2.15 for the mid-grade stuff, although some outfit called Valero has it for $2.13.
You are correct sir, that fuel price was out by Intercontinental Airport.
$2.25ish in Western Oregon.
Boise, Idaho area:
The corner station near my house has it for $1.97[sup]9[/sup]. It peaked at $2.09[sup]9[/sup] before prices fell, but I rarely go there because they tend to be the highest. A station on the other side of town had it for $1.88[sup]9[/sup] last Thursday. Since I go to this area fairly often I usually plan my fillups when I am around there and my gas gets down to about 1/4 tank.
It was $1.83[sup]9[/sup] at the Exxon nearest my house this morning. On the way to work, it wasn’t any less than that, but the price ran up to $1.98 at one of the non-large-chain stations where gas is usually a little bit cheaper.
Cleveland Ohio at $1.72/gal and Youngstown Ohio at $1.67/gal…
Addendum: Arco and 76 also have it for $2.13 if they happen to be near each other.
Chevron and Shell remain high as always.
1.89 - AM/PM (Arco) Bremerton, WA
Wednesday night it was $1.81[sup]9[/sup]
It’s going down a bit around here: $2.09 to $2.29.
