There was a recent threat on another board about $2 gas coming; some of the posts indicated gasoline in some parts of the country as low as $2.20 a gallon. Here in northeast Colorado we’re paying between $2.70 and $2.80. What’re you guys paying? And just for comparison, this isn’t just for Americans – what’s everybody paying (in dollars per gallon, if you can do a rough conversion, but if not, just list how much per volume.)
Make that a recent THREAD, not threat. :smack:
Note to self – quit hitting the diet Coke at work – you’re already stealing the company’s time by haunting the Dope.
Here in Tallahassee, we paid $2.39 yesterday. We did note that at all the other stations we passed after filling up, it was going for up to 25 cents more
I reward lower prices with my business so I usually go to the no-name gas stations. They seem to be around 2.43 right now. Exxon a little further away is around 2.65.
I saw $2.19 this morning in Minnesota.
www.twincitiesgasprices.com has some interesting info. Take a look at the graphs in the lower left. You can specify several different cities/states.
Just went down to $2.55 in the far 'burbs of Philly – i’ts usually 15-20 cents more in the city.
Upstate NY, and I just filled yesterday at $2.79.
Here in Portsmouth, Ohio, it’s about 2.48-2.52 depending on where you go. 10 minutes away it’s down to 2.29 at Speedway in a smaller town. I’ve noticed that this area (Portsmouth) is about 10-20 cents higher than surrounding areas.

Actually, try
They have links to gas cost sites all over the US and Canada
It was $2.09 at one of the Speedways I passed yesterday in Macedonia, OH. Previously it was $2.19 and $2.29.
I saw a blurb somewhere the other day that NE Ohio has some of the lowest gas prices in the country right now.
US $0.65/gallon more or less.
Showoff!
Bastard
I’m seeing 2.89 in California.
$2.19 in southern Ohio.
Last fill-up here in England was 89.9p per litre, or $6.42 per US gallon.
And that’s cheaper than it’s been for a while - in the summer it was over 1 pound per litre in many places - that’s well over $7 for a gallon.
$2.87 in Kern County (a little cheaper than LA due to the tax).
In Canada with all my extra gas taxes I still got a fillup for US$2.387/gal
Between $2.19 and $2.21 here in NE Ohio. Specifically, far eastern Cuyahoga county and western lake county.
It’s $2.19 in my part of Michigan.
