How much junk food/candy/chocolate do you eat?

I consider that I have a free pass to eat junk once a day. Usually that winds up being a bowl of ice cream with nuts and chocolate syrup sometime after dinner.

Last year, I had also authorized myself to eat any candy or cake that happened to be around the office, but lately… well, there’s this lady here who probably has an eating disorder. Because she and I are the smallest ones here, she gets overly interested in what I eat. (I think in her mind we are having a competition). She buys chocolate all the time and puts it out in a candy dish on my desk. I don’t like her, so I don’t eat it, and that has led to me eating less crap overall. Take that, crazy woman!

Lately, way too much.

Normally, once or twice a week. More often than that puts me into the habit of having junk food whenever I feel like it, and skipping healthy stuff, so I try to keep it to a minimum.

Junk food? A ton.

Candy or chocolate? Almost none.

“Sweet” is just something I don’t find very appealing. Not that I’m a paragon of healthy eating (quite the opposite), I just don’t much like sweet things.

In my perfect world, dessert would be another steak, medium-rare.

Snacks tend to be chips, pretzels, crackers, cheese.

I had leftover Halloween candy on Monday. A lot. I brought the bowl in to work and left it on my desk for co-workers to eat. I went the whole day without any desire to eat a single piece. Not because I have any willpower whatsoever, but because candy is just…cloying, I guess.

You and my husband both. For him, every chip bag is a single-serving size (even the monstrous ones). He has severely cut back on his chip intake - I think that has almost single-handedly been responsible for his 18 pound loss.

Moving thread from IMHO to Cafe Society.

I don’t like chocolate. I suspect this is why my wife married me.
