$11 in cash and $1.55 in change, plus a couple bucks in the penny can
$50 US. But when you have a check card who needs more?
I suppose that plays into your theory, doesn’t it?
$51.55. I need to break the fifty in the morning in order to pay someone $31.55. I have $5 in an old cigarette box at home - I usually have more, but recently have had a whole lot of present-giving events. And my sister still owes me $30.
I have about $1.87 in small change, and a debit card. I never carry around more than $20 cash at a time, because if I have it, I’ll spend it. I let my mom borrow some money a few weeks back, and she repaid me in cash. I lost $80 at work…I think it fell out of my pocket when I pulled out my keys. Yep, no more cash for me…
$22 in my wallet, plus about $20 or thereabouts in loose change that I’m collecting in a 5-gallon pickle bucket that I stole from Subway©.

The foreign currency is kind of a superstitious thing, a way of saying I shall return …
Do checks count? I’ve been carrying around $727.50 in checks since late July. I’ve been meaning to switch banks and open up a checking account at a bank that has a branch in my neighborhood (my current bank is on the other side of town), but I haven’t gotten around to it.
As far as real cash goes, I rarely carry any cash. The most I carry is around $20 at any given time. I left around $50 in my desk at work. That’s my little fund that I use for lunch and whatever contributions people are collecting at work.
$120 in my wallet, a $50 check in my pocket, and a $1 Bahama-note in my wallet as well
I have $3 cash on me. I HATE CARRYING CASH!!! I was in Vegas and won around $300 at the craps table recently, I had to get to the closest B of A ATM and deposit all but $20 right away.
I think the concept of cash may become obsolete in my lifetime (at least I hope so).

I lied. I thought I only had $16, but when I put on my jeans to go to Walmart earlier, I found a $10 bill in the pocket.
Added to the $20 I took out so I can go to the grocery later, that means I have $46 instead of $36.
$177 plus change US.
I use plastic most of the time, and pay it off every month. The cash is for things like parking, going out with friends, etc.
None, at the moment. If I put my wallet in my pocket I’d have about $32 plus plastic.
$4.00, plus about 70 or 80 cents in change. I never carry much cash because I have direct deposit from work and I use a check card whenever I can.
$207. I had a bit more, but I just got back from a weekend away (like every weekend, actually.) I’ve probably got ~$15.00 in random change scattered around, but I only ever carry about $1.50 in change.
Um, $11.00 Canadian.

I have £36.47 in my wallet. I might get some cash back at the supermarket till when I do the grocery shopping tonight. Then again, I might not. The earliest I’m likely to need cash is on Friday, for the traditional pint or two of Coniston Bluebird ale after work.

I have $70.00 US in my wallet, and $250.00 or so in rolled change in my sock drawer, and a handful of quarters, nickles and dimes in the ashtray of my van to feed the parking meters.
