The three BIG LIES the GOP keeps spreading are-
We have an open border- false.
Crime is out of control- false- crime is at a low.
The economy is terrible and it’s Bidens fault- the economy is current great and the President has little control.
Real issues- gun control, abortion, etc- the GOP has decided to skip.
That’s … pretty vivid. Are you getting enough sleep? Been under any unusual stress lately? 
Imagine if Taylor does endorse Biden. When the inevitable wailing, gnashing of teeth, and pulling of hair comes from the MAGAts will she turn to them and say, “Look what you made me do.”
I’m taking my niece to see Taylor in London in June, and intense negotiations are underway about what I’m willing to wear.

But, does she win the Super Bowl? That remains to be seen. Will she make it there in time from her concert in Japan? I am on the edge of my seat.
She has a huge body of work with different musical and visual styles that are all being celebrated in this tour (that’s the Eras thing), and there are endless recurring motifs and symbols, songs referencing other songs, “easter eggs” hidden in lyrics or videos that the fans hunt out. So you’ll see fans dressed up in dozens of different ways that reference a particular song or video or era style or recurring motif. And none of these things are likely to preserve my dignity.

The last big concert I went to was Dylan in 1986, and I wish I’d kept a tee shirt from then, that would have been perfect. I’m not just going for my niece, I’m going for myself too - I think she’s a remarkable songwriter, at least as good as old Bob. Maybe I can make up a T-shirt with a picture of Bob and “Tangled Up In Lavender Haze”, that’ll confuse them.
It sounds fun. I don’t have any interest in learning to like the music, but I envy the joy her fans are getting out of it.
There are youth votes and then there are youth votes. Reagan came close to winning 18-29s in 1980 and then did in '84, followed by Bush I repeating the feat.
The current batch of yutes is voting blue by over 25 points; Trump’s margin is already razor thin, he can’t afford any more young women motivated to pull the lever for the other guy.
Any impact she has will not be in shaming MAGA and Republican or die people into changing sides, it will be in getting some of her fans to vote who would otherwise have not bothered.
Her fans span all ages, so it isn’t just 18-29. Half of US adults claim to be Swift fans. Many of those will already be planning to vote one way or another, but the battle ground states are so close that 10-20,000 extra votes could easily make a difference.
I have never listened to her music. I am a very big fan. She’s pissing trumpy off and getting young people to vote. All she needs to do now is start sending books to children and I will be one of her BIGGEST fans ever!!!
She probably already does that.
I agree that small factors like this impact a close race.
But as for half being Swift fans:
Personally, I am in the seventeenth percent with very positive views. I’ve never heard the slightest thing bad about her. But I am in no way a fan.
Her endorsing Biden will sway some votes. But, like any reminder to vote, it will remind possible/uncertain voters on both sides to vote.
If she really wants to help Biden, she should hire a market research company to recruit uncertain voters and ask them how they would feel about differently worded possible endorsements.
She’s directly and personally responsible for all the business decisions that have got her where she is. Whatever she does, it will be carefully planned.
If she gets Millennial and Gen Z women voting in big numbers, she could potentially end the Republican Party. And if they keep attacking her, that might happen. They’re terrified of her for good reason.
She’s much bigger than Oprah. Oprah could never sell out Sofi Stadium (L.A.) 6 times with thousands listening from the parking lot. She probably could’ve sold out more dates. An ongoing campaign against her could mobilize the Swifties. They’re playing with fire by constantly attacking her.
If only she would give a fundraising concert for Biden. MAGA heads would asplode.
n the midst of her Speak Now tour, the star donated 6,000 books to the Reading Public Library in Pennsylvania. The books were all new and geared towards children and teens, according to the local Reading Eagle.
Mind you, I am not a 'swifty", I own none of her music, etc, but I find her music pretty nice for Pop.
Ignorance fought! Thank you. I knew that she was very generous with her money, but I was really putting in a nod at Dolly Parton. I do not like her music at all, it is far too twangy for me, but I am still a super big fan.
