Why would you think that, when she has repeatedly made clear to people who assume otherwise that she runs T Swift Inc, that’s she’s hands-on in business meetings every day? When everyone who interacts with her comments on her business acumen? Of course she has teams of people working for her, but they are working for her.
They act under her direction and she tells them how strongly to act.
Yeah, they’re not actually going to stop watching. These are the same people who flipped shit because players took a knee. They’re still watching and complaining.
For most performers, you’d probably be right. But Swift made big news some years back when she, personally, clawed back control of her intellectual property from the record companies, most notably with her “Taylor’s Version” line of albums. Which might be part of why she’s more protective of her IP than most artists.
I mean, she’s probably not personally looking at every instance of someone using her music. But she sets the tempo, so to speak. It would be easy to assume she’s just the face of the empire, and easier to dismiss her that way as a pawn.
I would agree, in general, but she is way too busy to be trolling dozens of sites and boards looking for CopyRight violations.

Ha ha, MAGAts know going in that there’s no way TS would ever endorse a shitass like trump, so in their wisdom they think to make a preemptive strike. There’s a wildcard in the works; she’s releasing a new album (and not a remix of an older one) on April 19. How soon before the “Trump played it backwards and didn’t like what he heard” rumors start?
Let’s start a rumor that Trump is going to use campaign funds to buy every copy, and then hold them ransom until the Swifties vote for him.
And then a secondary rumor that can be ‘leaked’ from sources ‘close to trump’ that he actually bought all of them because he’s such a huge fan himself. He likes to make sure that no matter where he is, there’s always some t-swift nearby that he can listen to. He even sends them ahead to the places he’ll be staying when he’s on the road.
I could see Trump playing her music at a rally just to thumb his nose at her.
