How much would it cost to rent a limo, with seven passengers, to drive from Chicago, IL to Rochester, MN (335 miles), stay overnight, and then drive back? Aside from the driving, the trip would eat up two complete working days.
Do limo services offer this kind of service?
And the question is hypothetical, so I don’t want to call any services. I was hoping someone might have an idea.
That type of trip would be best negotiated with a company - you could get a better rate than their hourly rate if it wasn’t a peak time of year, such as prom time. But I still imagine it would be expensive.
The is a limo compnay in Connecticut I’ve used on occasion. One driver told me he had on several occasions driven an elderly woman who dislike to fly from her home in CT to Florida so she could winter there. That’s a two-three day trip one way so at least some companies would do such a thing.
As a former taxi driver, I’ll vouch that Snakescatlady is entirely correct; nobody but a screaming idiot would pay meter/hourly rate for it.
The sandard charge would likely be something like $1500-2000 plus gas; some dickering could get it below that. The way to do it is to get a bidding war going.
