I know people who get 20 dollars out of the ATM every day.
I go once every two weeks.
How about you?

Almost never. I seldom use cash, and when I want cash, I usually get cash-back at the register when I’m buying something.
Never. I do keep $20-$50 in cash on me, but I get that back at the register when paying for something with my debit card.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I went to a separate ATM machine.
Yeah, that. I use coins sometimes for parking at school at the meters, but every place takes cards now, so I usually never carry cash.
Same. Plus where I am a tell’ah and deal with cash constantly, I rather not deal with it when I’m not working. I abuse my debit card like crazy at the store, malls, etc.
About twice a month. I use cash as my fun money - when it’s gone, it’s gone. I pay closer attention to cash than my debit/credit card spending.
Twice per week, on average.
Statistics may have been rectally derived.
I direct deposit my paycheck, but still use cash for a lot of minor purchases. My son gets a five for lunch daily, if I gave him more or took advantage of the school lunch account program he’d spend it all in a week buying milkshakes and candy bars for all his friends. Plus there’s always school fundraisers or field trip fees, easier to pay in cash than remember where my checkbook is at 5:30 in the morning when I’m running out the door. I use cash nearly every day for lunch, as well. I prefer giving cash in birthday/other gifty event cards to all the neices and nephews, and with as many as I have that’s usually about twice a month. It adds up to more than a few situations where it’s just easier for me to use cash, although I’m sure I’d keep better track of my spending if I didn’t.
I do use a credit card often, hardly ever debit anything, but it’s still $3-400 a month, so I go every couple of weeks usually.
Rarely - maybe once every couple of months, and usually only when I have to deposit something*. I use credit cards or Interac otherwise.
*I think I’ve been to an actual bank teller less than a dozen times in my life!
About once every three days. I like cash and we have an ATM from my bank here at work so I can just use it walking in or out very quickly.
Once a week. I usually get $100.
The last time was on 12/15. The previous time before that I don’t even remember. Maybe October?
I have a debit card, and the rare occasions I need cash I know usually enough in advance that I’ll just get cash back on a purchase and set it aside.
Never. We didn’t even activate the card we got from the bank.
Almost never. I haven’t used an ATM in about 2 years. I use credit cards, and pay my bills through online banking. I go to the bank once a month or so to say hello to people I’ve known through the years, and drop stuff off in my safety box, or retrieve stuff from it.
Me too. I have direct deposit and do a lot of online banking, so my in-person dealings with the bank are minimal, maybe a couple of times a year. My husband doesn’t have direct deposit though, so he deposits his check via ATM every two weeks. If we have any other ATM transactions to make, he does it then.
That describes me as well.
I work at a credit union, so any time I need cash, I just go and withdraw it. I almost never use my card at an ATM.
Two times per week for cash. Love cash. Nothing like cash. I’ve read the word cash thirty times now in this thread and it’s starting to lose its meaning. Cash. Got cash? I got cash, baby. Weird word.
Cash is great. Portable. Untraceable. No paperwork. Once it’s spent, it’s gone and you won’t see the charge on a statement later.
I always pull $80 (unless I’m expecting a particular cash expense), and do so, on average, 3 times a month.
