A haircut is only $8 where I go. $15 a week is a hell of a lot to spend on hair. Get a girlfriend that knows how to cut hair.
I sense you have an agenda. Are you trying to tell your mom “but everyone else gets weekly hair cuts!” so that she’ll keep funding your $80/month preening habit? Without making you choose between a haircut and a sweater?
Enjoy your coddling while it lasts. It’s really not good for you but I’m sure it’s nice.

I go about every three months.
If I had more free time, I’d go about twice as often. My hair grows fast, and starts to get heavy and hot after about two months. I can’t really get away with a crew cut or anything that close to the head.
About once a year. I’m due for one soon, as my hair is pretty long and spring is here.
I’ve stopped going for professional haircuts. If I ever want my hair trimmed, I’ll do it myself. Aside from being a cheap guy, I’ve always hated going to get my hair cut because they’ll ask me what I want, and I have no idea. They’re the experts on hairstyles, not me!
Uh… dunno. Probably works out to 3-4 weeks. I go by when it’s starting to go over my ears.
Yeah, I’m trying to figure out what a sweater has to do with the barber shop. It sounds like he refuses to go unless he can wear the brand-new Ralph Lauren sweater he couldn’t get mom to pay for… which doesn’t make sense because it makes him sound like a petulant toddler throwing a tantrum, right?
Also, $80 a month for hair care is insane. If you need it that short, get yourself a set of clippers and do it yourself. No one but you is going to notice an eighth-inch of growth from week to week.
Me, my last cut was over a year ago, and before that it had been… well, somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 or 6 years I think, although in the middle of that it all fell out from the chemo, so I was growing my hair for about 4 or 4-1/2 years before I trimmed it. And then only because for some reason, all of the longest hairs fell out seemingly all at once, and I ended up looking very ragged suddenly. Sadly my hair isn’t growing as long as it was, now. 
I get a buzz-cut about once every 9 months.

Not sure precisely but I would estimate every 5 or 6 months. I can certainly say that since 1st Feb I have had two cuts but I am not sure what my hair status was on the 1st Feb (I moved for the 1st Feb and have had two cuts since then).
I tend to grow my hair from silly short to silly long, it’s at the point I need to keep flicking it over my head like I girl that I get it shorn again.
Everyone loves my hair, by the way. Seriously, even full straight blokey men will spontaneously play with it. I use head and sholders exclusively, even though I don’t suffer from dandruff. I don’t know what it is in the stuff but it makes my hair super duper silky in a way no other shampoo will.
I DO have my hair cut once a week! BUT, I do it myself. Paying a barber for that would rival what I used to spend on cigarettes in a month before I quit!
For clarity, I use electric clippers, and give myself a number one cut. I started off a number three once a month. Go back farther and my hair was halfway down my back!
I wonder, shall I be shaving myself bald twice a week soon?! :eek: I doubt it. I sometimes feel a number one is too short. It’s just amusing how the time between cuts AND the hair have both shortened over time.
And add me to those blanching at an eighty-dollar barbershop bill. My grandfather would have described it as “rich peoples’ disease”.
