Today. Just today, I was at a store and watched a small kid get into a shopping cart by pushing the back open (which they have to do in order to store them compactly) and then hopping in.
I lifted my kids in and out of those things for years when they were small and never considered that there was an alternative.
I once fell for the trick that the word “gullible” wasn’t in the dictionary.
