I’ve never actually done this before, and I’m not sure what the protocol is. Do I report a post in the thread, and then ask? Do I use e-mail?
I just don’t want to abuse a channel that I ought to use for something else.
Reporting a post in the thread is fine, just explain clearly what you’re asking for. Email works as well. So do candygrams.

Whatever method you’d like. Using the REPORT function to ask for a title change has the best chance of fairly fast response, in general, because it’s going to more people. An email goes to just the one mod, so if that person is busy or travelling or whatever and doesn’t ge around to reading email…
