Hey smart people, I would like to send CNN articles to my Facebook friends, but the articles never have the Facebook icon. I know about copying small items, clicking on Mail, copying the URL and copying that to the Create New Post in my homepage in Facebook, but articles in the CNN webpage are too big. I hope my question isn’t too long and confusing for anyone to help. TIA
Just copy the URL and paste it into a post.
The URL is nowhere to be found on my tablet. That would have worked on my desktop computer, though.
Can you give me an example? There aren’t websites that don’t have a url.
Never mind, I figured it out; I only needed to copy the title and picture to get the URL. Thanks for your help, Munch. Sorry to show how dumb I am.
Are you using a CNN app, or just going to their website on a browser?
I’m going to CNN.com on my IPad. I was able to copy one article by copying the picture, clicking on Mail, and copying the URL that appeared and then creating a post on Facebook, but that didn’t work on another article I tried to copy.
What browser do you use?

I think you’re over-engineering the solution here.
Assuming Safari on my iPhone is no different than on a tablet (I can check when I get home), but you just click the url at the bottom of the screen, double-tap on the URL to highlight it, tap it again and select “copy”. Then you paste the url straight into your Facebook post.
Can’t you just click the share button? That should give you an option to copy the link or share it to Facebook.

Depends on which version of iPadOS you’re talking about. In the current versions, the url is at the top, like a desktop browser would have.
But also up in the top bar is the share button. Looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it. That’s the simplest was to send someone a page.
