I admit I’m a doof when it comes to computer/Internet issues, but I’m having trouble sending an article I like on CNN to my Facebook friends if there isn’t a facebook icon I can click on. Can any of you smart dopers tell me how to send an article to facebook friends without a facebook icon? Thanks for your assistance.
In your web browser, highlight the address (URL) for the CNN article, and copy it (the Control button plus the C key if you’re on a Windows computer), then paste that address into a post you make on Facebook (using Control plus V to paste).
kenobi_65, you’re a GENIUS!!! I was able to copy the article and send it to my facebook friends. It was so easy, even this doofus was able to do it! Thank you very much!!!
You are welcome! Those “share” buttons are a nice shortcut, but it never hurts to know how to copy and paste.
