My friends and I have come up with a fun Bar game based on the observation that most new tv shows/movies seem to be combinations of old ones. We tried to figure out why this is, and decided that Producers these days just throw all the names of old TV shows/movies into a hat, and then reach in 3 times and create a mix of what they got. Example:
First Pick: Gilligans Island
Second Pick: Three’s Company
Third Pick: Star Trek
So the show would be about 2 hot chics and a single guy who get stuck on a far off planet while exploring the galaxy, and every week they have a chance to get off, but they get too drunk while dating the natives, slapstick ensues, and they never get off (the planet that is).
See how easy it is? Why not give it a try? Also, hit me with some names of TV shows and movies that would make a good addition to the hat. We’ve got about 50 each right now.
