I have a thread I’d like to start. It COULD, however, stray into legality problems IF posters who respond fail to consider the subject matter (no, it doesn’t involve porno of any kind) and stick to the OP. It would go in the Cafe Society Froum. Should I e-mail the Mods there? Obviously, I couldn’t post the subject matter here for fear of starting the thread. I’d rather be told NOT to start the thread than to have it locked and my posting priveleges revoked.
I have a feeling I’ve answered my own question, but I’d an official ruling.
Looks to me like your options are:
a) Start the thread without asking - which seems obviously not to be the best idea after asking the question here.
b) Not start the thread.
c) E-mail moderator(s)/administrator(s) asking for their opinion.
I would choose option b) or c). If you decide on option c), I would start with the Cafe Society Moderator(s) - Ukulele Ike would be your best bet since Eutychus55 is on semi-official sabbatical. If you don’t get any answer from the initial group of people you e-mail, don’t despair. Slowly widen the net by e-mailing other staff members, and eventually a fish will land in your bucket.
I e-mailed UkuleleIke and he nixed the idea. Better safe than sorry. This thread should probably be locked now.
Or hi-jacked.
What is with the big nose ring girls? I mean if you want a little bitty jewel stud thing in there, that can look okay, especially, for some reason, if you are dark-complexioned. But when you pale-skinned red-headed girls wear big old curtain rings in there, all I can think of is how do you manage to blow your nose?
Boys with nose rings - forget it!
How’s that?

Well, call me an old fusspot, but dynamiting City Dog Pounds in order to free the puppies and kittens and training them into battalions to overthrow the existing civic power structure just seemed kinda…PROVOCATIVE. To me, anyway.
First girl I ever saw with a nose ring was back in '76…downtown Cleveland…she was a Hare Krishna chick: Semitic good looks, olive complexion, dark curly hair. We chatted about cosmic consciousness, but never took it further than that. Looked cute on her, though.
