I burned a video I made onto a DVD using iDVD on a mac. Now I’m on a PC with no access to the original and I need to get the video off the DVD and onto youtube. I have no problem getting the video off the DVD, but it’s in 3 files in a strange format. How do I convert this to a YouTube-usable format?
You’ll need to convert your DVD to a codec that Youtube can accept. One such codec is h264, which you can convert DVDs to by using the freeware program Handbrake. This is assuming that you did not apply copy protection to your own DVD.
