How to lose 25 pounds in 8 days

To answer everyone’s questions in one handy post…she’s going to be a Josie, my husband is an amazing dad who takes constantly getting peed and pooped on with a remarkable sense of humor (I swear, it’s like she saves it up for when he’s doing the diaper change), and I am recovering from the surgery pretty well–I get my staples out tomorrow and all I can reallycomplain about is that the incision itches something awful and I can’t get the adhesive residue from the initial bandage off my belly.

And now, sleep!

Sleep? What is this sleep you speak of? You have a newborn. It’s my understanding you won’t know what sleep is for quite some time.

Congrats, drainy!

Congratulations, she is REALLY beautiful! And so are you - I was all blotchy and tear stained after my c-section!

You’ll feel way better when the staples are out, much more bending room!

Josie is a lovely name (I like Violet too…)

Hee. Keep looking at picture 030 and thinking, “I need to sing, and no one’s gonna stop me!”

Give the li’l one extra hugs from us 'dopers!

She is beautiful! Now you need some pussycats so she can have her own band.

Congrats Drain Bead, that’s fantastic news! I was just wondering the other day if you had your baby yet. She is adorable.

What a cutie! She looks so alert, too – I would never have guessed that she’s only a week old.

Congrats!

My brother and I both slept through the night from birth–may you have such good luck as my parents  She’s gorgeous and so alert. Congratulations!

She is just precious and congratulations!!!

Wow, almost as cute as mine was!

Heh.

Congratulations, she’s gorgeous.

Looks around at previous posts Did you give birth to a kitten?

Seriously, congrats on your lovely daughter!

Sweetie, she is beautiful. And you look sickeningly good for a woman who just gave birth!

Well done, sister! Welcome to the club!
