Do you use Juno Internet Email and have you transferred contact addressee to a 2nd computer?
I am trying to setup a 2nd computer and I am trying to transfer contact addressee to a 2nd computer. I have instructions from Juno listed below but I am missing something in getting this task done. If you use Juno and have had success with transferring files to a 2nd computer please review Juno’s instructions (plus add any tips that might help me spot what I am missing). I feel I saved my transferred saved files using USER0000 as I see them and felt the contacts would have been included. Next the “yes” to replace never appears in the process below.
Close Juno completely.
Check for the Juno icon on the bottom right corner of the Taskbar (System tray).
Right click on the Juno icon and click on Exit Juno to close the taskbar icon also.
Go to the below path to find the current USER folder in the computer.
C:\Program Data\Juno\ISP\OER\USER0000
To go to the above path, you need to double click on My Computer, C drive…then Program data…
Now, you will be able to see the contents of current user folder. Once you see the contents, you need to paste the copied “addrbook.nv” file to that user folder. Click Yes for ‘Do you want to Replace the existing file’. Ensure that you are pasting the largest “addrbook.nv” file from the search list to the user folder. Largest file will be having all the email addresses in it. Once pasted, please open the Juno software and verify the address book. As informed above, only one “addrbook.nv” file can be inserted to the user folder of the Juno software.
Thanks for any help.
