How to Obtain a List of Songs Used on a TV Show

I’ve grown rather fond of the TV show TruTv Presents: World’s Dumbest.

On most of the clips, there will be background music playing, and I’ve grown to like a couple of the songs. However, in watching the credits I don’t see a list of the songs used. I’ve e-mailed the producers (twice) through the show’s web site, but haven’t gotten a response.

This has to be publicly available information, since they’re paying royalties on the music, right? Short of sending a snail-mail letter written on pen and paper to Time Warner (the network’s parent company), is there a way to get this information? Perhaps someone with better google-fu than I can dig it up?

Thanks!

They’re almost undoubtedly paying royalties on the music, yes, but that doesn’t make it public information. It’s a private contract between the producers of the show, and the owners of the music in question.

IMDB.com will often have information on music in movies and TV shows, but it’s not perfect.
