I’m needing suggestions as how to be promote and get activity going on a discussion forum and how to get comments active on article sites. I see how active something like this is and wonder how to generate such visibility and activity.
You could go to every forum, blog and comment section you can find and post links.

Post your link to Reddit. Be sure to find the appropriate sub reddit. If your article is actually interesting enough to discuss, reddit is the place to get some visibility.
