How would a German say the 911 or 356 model numbers in German?
Nine one one, nine eleven, or nine hundred eleven? three five six, three fifty-six, three hundred fifty six?
danke.

I found exactly one video on the internet about Porsche in German, and it just kept calling it the Carrera.
I would imagine it varies auf Deutsch as much as it does in English. Some people probably call it a neun-elf, some a neun-eins-eins. I can’t imagine anyone calling it a neun hunnert elf, but then until 9/11, I couldn’t believe anyone actually referred to 9-1-1 as 9-11, either. I thought that was just the punchline to a blonde joke.
Same with the other. Either drei-fünf-sechs, drei-sechs-und-fünfzig, or drei-hunnert-sechs-und-fünfzig.
Oh, two fun facts I learned: (1) porsche.de auto-forwards to Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG | Porsche Deutschland and (2) it has a Porsche emblem as its favicon.
It’s “Neun-hundert-elf” in this video. Right at the start, no waiting.
Glad that wasn’t the one I found, or I’d be embarrassed as hell.
