I have two android phones (work and personal) and when I save a number or contact on one phone it doesn’t always show up on the other phone.
Also, when I add a contact to Outlook (via work computer) it usually won’t show up on my phones in “contacts”.
How does one seamlessly integrate all of the above?
Thanks
Are the two phones using the same gmail address or is one your personal email & one your work email?
The phones both have the same google account (my personal) and they both have outlook. My personal phone has the outlook app (I.T. waved a magic wand at this to get it synced) and the work phone has the stock email client for Android and syncing with Outlook using POP3 or something…(again I.T. did the syncing)
I can view my Gmail on both phones (same account) and I can access my outlook email from both phones. The outlook account (on both phones) is business.
These accounts across all devices don’t seem to be sharing contact information.
The work laptop is the other device. Again, I’m logged in on that to Google (gmail) and Outlook (business account)
It’d be nice if once a phone/email/business card was entered on any of the devices it would be shared across the board.
I use Outlook4Gmail. It works pretty well for syncing calendar appointments. I have thousands of business contacts on my desktop, the vast majority of which I don’t need to access on my phone. So don’t use it for contacts, and can’t provide first-hand experience regarding that functionality. But I have no reason to think it wouldn’t work just fine.
