The title says it: How to tie a bandana scarf correctly on one’s head ?
Please define the question:
You want a head-band type look? A the-thing-covers-my-whole-shiny-head look? The I’ve-got long-hair-and-want-to-keep-it-out-my-face look?
I can answer all of these questions with precision but am so bored with having to ask you to be more specific on such an open-ended question that I’m not even gonna bother with one.
If you want the traditional pirate-type (covers the whole head). Fold it in half diagonally. Place the long part on your forehead. Tie the two small ends in a knot. Tuck in the triangle-shaped tip. Say “Arrr!”
As a slight refinement, if you want the ‘pirate’ look, place the triangle tip at the back of your head first, then tie the ends above it, rather than tucking the tip after tying - seems to produce a snugger fit.
'tis true mateys…there arrggh many ways in which to rig your bonnet.
But whichever way I wear today, I always tie it with a square knot.
It’s definitely the pirate type bandana to protect my bald head from sunburn.
