I use AVG and installed a recent update, the addition of AVG Secure Search screws with my Google Chrome searches and I don’t like it.
How do I turn it off without removing AVG?
Go to your Chrome settings. There will be a drop-down under Search that says “Set which search engine is used…” and set to Google instead of AVG. Hope this works for you.
