I have a Motorola v60t cell phone. It’s a TDMA phone on the AT&T network. When it runs low on batteries, it will start beeping, about once every 10 minutes. I can’t figure out how to turn off this beeping, even when the phone is on silent mode.
Anyone know how to turn this beeping off (besides by turning the phone off)?
Turn off the phone.
I have a GPS that has the same problem - it displays ‘low battery - press enter to acknowleage’ when you press enter it goes away for about 1/2 a sec then back blocking everything you need to see on the screen.
Yeah, so far that’s the best solution I’ve come up with, but unfortunately that means i might miss my calls. I think I would rather let the beeping continue.
Maybe someone else has another suggestion.
Your welcome for the useless bump, but now that I though of it I had somewhat of a issue of my cell phone - The manual didn’t say how to put it into a lock mode (preventing accidential dialing) - I emailed audiovox and they told me the majic key combination to activiate/deactivate the keyboard lock.
so what about asking motorolla?
I thought of that too, and I’m waiting for a reply. Sometimes these big corporations never get around to answering your emails in a timely fashion so I though I’d try here in case someone was able to answer it quickly, and just to make sure it’s not an obvious thing that I overlooked.
