Well, yeah, I suppose you do. It’s a sure sign of uptightness when you get defensive about your use of the equivalent of pop-up ads for people who aren’t actually advertising anything. I figure that if someone’s reading, I’ll let them decide how they want to feel. I’m okay with that.

This seems to parallel those arguments to remove or ban certain radio or TV programs, or any other venue that is upsetting to some. If what you’re viewing annoys you, change the channel, or shut it off and grab a book. Hopefully that will be your island of solace in the sea of aggravation. Or mayhaps the sharks will eat you. That would be annoying, too.
Who’s talking about banning anything? What’s wrong with complaining about stuff you hate? Have we all forgotten how to disagree? Yeesh.
