How we should ALL commemorate 9/11

The September 11th terrorists had one goal in mind.

Hatred and Mistrust.

They wanted to hurt us so badly and create such fear that there would be a terrible backlash against all Arab-Americans. Then after we had stripped them of all of their civil rights, they would be a huge, prepositioned army in the jihad against us.

So, how do we fight back?

Acceptance and Understanding, maybe? Celebrating Diversity?

Today, every American should take a few minutes to reach out to someone of another race, religion, or ethnic group. Just say, “I am glad to live in a nation where we are all free to be different.”

At least that’s what I think.
