How would Jehovah's Witnesses vote, if they could?

I know one, but I don’t feel like asking because I don’t like her much anyway.

I’m curious, though. They profess to stay out of politics. But which way do they lean?

Republican without the militarism, Democrat without the pro-abortion, pro-gay-isms.

They can’t vote?

yeee haaaaa!

There’s some hope yet…
Oh yes, my brother inlaw is a JW-geesh!

To to OP, certainly Republican, if only because of conservatism and because most conservative Christian denominations lead towards Republicans. I guess conservative Christians feel comfortable among and welcome by Republicans.

[hijack] To myrnajean, did your sister join the JWs? If so, how did that affect your family dynamics? [/hijack]

No, he was the brother of my late husband.

When my husband desperately needed a transplant and transfusions, I was sitting in the waiting room of the hospital, heart in my hands, and he sat next to me and started blathering about how you shouldn’t “eat” blood, therefore no transfusions.

I reminded him I am Puerto Rican, we eat morica (blood sausage) and it won’t even save your life, some people just find it tasty (not me personally though)

Anyway, he couldn’t explain his beliefs to my satisfaction, he just blathered and waved his little book, and I sent him on his way.

It had basically no effect on our relationship. I thought he was a nut before, and I still do. :wally

Oh, duh. Of course. Your brother-in-law would be the brother of your husband, not the husband of your sister. I am such an idiot sometimes.

Well, I know Latter-day Saints and JW’s (we call them Jay-Dubs) have a nice rivalry going on. We still admire their retention rate.

Interesting theology they have, indeed.
