Well, no, not quite. That bodily aperture “leaks” a little, even in perfectly healthy people. It isn’t an hermetic seal. One would have to wipe anew, every time he chose to sit, and, if he sat in one place for a time, there would be more leakage and contamination.
Really? I hadn’t heard that.
Hmm. Underwear for all please.
Shoes optional outside, although I respect the parents rules there.
I might have a chat with the parents when everyone is healthy again, just to make sure everyone was ok. Someone mentioned up thread that kids by 9 start wanting to cover up. Yes, all kids are different, etc, etc. taking that as given, one common symptom of autism spectrum is discomfort with clothing. (No, I’m not over-reacting, why do you ask?)
Otherwise, my (Anne’s) discomfort with family lifestyle is gonna be sucked up and ignored. Assuming she wants to keep seeing the grandkids.
Well it depends on what he was using as the sword …
ETA - another vote for who cares what they do when she is not there so long as it aint abuse (and this aint) but that she counts as someone coming over.
The children are being socialized into weirdos. Like it or not, poor socialization does have consequences, and these children are oblivious to them.
It could be harmless, but it could also lead to a life time of poor social development. Just imagine if one of the children told another child in school what they do at home and that child tells everyone else. That’s the kind of behavior that leaves you without friends through grade school.

We don’t know that Sam Jr. wasn’t wearing an apron while cooking, as Anne sleeps through breakfast. 'Sides, for a nine-year-old, getting breakfast probably for himself and his baby sisters probably means probably means pouring apple juice over corn flakes.

Sadist. The original Leda got to lay eggs, and I have it on good authority (you know from whom) that said eggs were chickenish in size when they left her, ah, naughty bits. Sam’s Leda would have had to carry four at once, and while that’s doable it ain’t easy.
My, you’re … judgmental.
I wonder if a heterosexual boy raised up in a casually nudist home will be desensitized to breasts as an automatically erotic stimulus. They won’t hold any mystery for him.
When I visited Australia, where women frequently wore no tops at beaches, I noticed that we visiting Americans were easy to spot: we were the ones drooling and staring.
If they suffer from desensitization, I haven’t heard about it and it certainly wasn’t evident. It might be most evident at later ages, when arousal takes more stimulation.
Back to the OP. I think it’s weird based common standards, but I’m not all that afraid of weird. I don’t think it’s unhealthy. I think the American fuss over nudity is far less healthy. That said, I sure do like seeing naked pretty women, and I’m glad I don’t have to see naked men very often. Silly me.
And how does adult male roommate feel about this?
No.
I mean, you get somewhat desensitized to them in casual context, but they’re still erotic in erotic context. Like, y’know, all of men’s bodies that women (and men) can see at the park. They’re still plenty of fun to look at in the bedroom. ![]()
Read about a young married couple on a long sail trip across big water.
Small boat, just the two & were standing 12 on 12 off watches. Hot, both were nude constantly.
Wife asked why no sex when they were having an easy day or two and were both awake. He didn’t know, just not in the mood. She thought about it for a bit, went below and put on panties & a bra.
30 minutes later they were competition for wild weasels…
True story AFAIK.
Kinda works that way for me also.
I’m hoping like hell you’re not the one in the bra and panties.

In a thread asking me for the reasons behind my opinions? The nerve of me!
I said automatically erotic, not simply erotic.
You say that like it’s a bad thing.
You also seem to assume that clothed boobs are *not *automatically erotic to many people.
I’d be rather relieved if my boobs were not automatically erotic, but erotic when I want them to be. It would make riding the subway much more pleasant (and safe.) :dubious:
