How would you feel if all music completely disappeared?

Unemployed.

After requesting the Dance of Despair from Numfar I’d be looking for the first portal outta there.

I don’t really dislike music but I don’t listen to any intentionally. So I’d lose: soundtracks to video games and movies and the noise other people listen to. The latter would be absolutely delightful. The former is a bit of a toss up. On the one hand music used well in movies and video games can be quite nice. On the other hand music is rarely used well in either. In movies, especially, music is usually used in ways I hate. I recently saw Watchmen, for example, and the music was terribly used in that. It was distracting, awkward, way too loud, and just out of place. The movie would have been much better with little to no music.

So while “good riddance” is a bit more enthusiastic than I’d like it’s what I chose as I’d probably be happier overall.

It’d certainly be nice to never be asked what kind of music I listen to again.

I hate you even suggesting it - how do you know aliens aren’t reading this right NOW?

Moderator, please go change all votes to ‘Good riddance’. Thank you.

Are you kidding? They’re probably putting demos up on Youtube right now in hopes of getting noticed by a label.

As if aliens could read English…ha! Don’t be ridiculous.

+1 - Music is my sanity.

As Nietzsche said:

…that is the role of music in my life.

Eh. I’ve given up music long ago. It wouldn’t affect me.

Wow, different strokes for sure. One of the things I enjoyed most about the movie was the use of music.
