I once saw a Rose Is Rose Sunday strip in which the title character was wearing a bikini and bent over at the waist with her nethers up in the air. I really wish I had kept that paper. It was the most erotic drawing I had ever seen in the comics.

Gotta love that Andy Capp is still around. There just isn’t enough modern humor featuring drunken wife-beating.
As for Blondie - yeah, hot-damn. The orignal premise of the comic was that Dagwood gave up his wealth for her and you can see why.
Dagwood’s family definitely thought so. Way back when the strip started, Dagwood was the scion of a very wealthy family. They disinherited him when he married a cheap floozy flapper named Blondie.

Actually, it’s Flo who hits Andy. He comes home drunk and she punches him out the door. This is, of course, hilarious, especially since Andy gets blamed not just for being an unemployed sot, but also for being a wife-beater. He’s always hitting her in the fist with his chin.
