I have a very bad back (2 x herniated discs, spinal stenosis etc), lotsa pain and movement difficulties.
I also have lotsa eye issues, which of late have needed regular prednisolone drops to reduce swelling in the back of my eye.
Well, cut a long story short, today I burst into inconsolable tears at work…nothing out of the ordinary to set it off. It was tres embarrassing for a bit (even though I work from home even!) but I eventually shut the tears off and things were OK again. MUCH later, I figured the connection to the drops and the depressive tears…pred can be a bastid like that!
But THEN I noticed my backpain has gone. Far out! I’ve been living on Endone for a few weeks now (just getting by even with the pills) but tonight I have NO pain and NO difficulty in movement! WTF?? How bloody amazing!
I’m happy to keep being morose and teary if it means my back is pain-free…bring those drops on…
