"Howard Stern Show" Question

No. But I can see how you’d think that.

Hmmmm. Not sure what happened, but the original question was this:

How do callers know what number to call to get onto this show? It occured to me that in all the times I’ve listened I’ve never heard Howard (or anyone, for that matter) give out a phone number. But he DOES take calls.

Anyone know what’s going on?

Thanks,
Stephen

Well, I have never called the show myself, but the toll-free number is quite easy to obtain on the web.

OK, then I guess the question is: why DOESN’T Stern give out his show’s phone number? And how did people know how to call him BEFORE the Internet?

I have heard the phone number, they usually tell it as a bumper, before they go to commercial. I haven’t heard it very often lately.
but,

The last time I heard it was1-800-44STERN.

I wish he had E-mail, I would do that instead of call, cause you can never get through, I’ve tried calling before, but gave up.

I don’t think they often give it out much these days because they already get more calls per show than they can use on the air.

Will this do?
