Don’t know if it’s a strip that anyone follows, and honestly, I stopped following it for the most part long ago, but it ran for 25 years, and just ended a few weeks ago.
It was one of my first webcomics, and it was one of the first webcomics. The creator Darren Bleuel was pretty influential in the early days, helping many other artists get their start, some even crediting him back by cameoing him in their strips, Schlock Mercenary going above and beyond by making nearly a billion copies of him, and giving them their own story arc.
I happened to remember a particular strip that I wanted to use for a point, so I went looking for it, I didn’t find it, but did find the final strip announcing the end.
Anyone else ever read or still read this comic? Anyone feeling a bit of a pange of nostalgia over its ending? Feels more like the end of an era than the Queen passing, IMO.
