Actually, it’s a tropical storm, but Florida is having an unusually wet summer.
It’s funny, five years ago everyone was complaining about the drought. Now they’re bitching about the rain.

We’re supposed to get 2-6" of rain from Henri - I sure hope so. My lawn is more dusty than anything these days. I just hope it doesn’t affect my daughter’s flight out this evening. I don’t think the worst of it is supposed to get here till tomorrow.
I have to bring in the patio furniture, but the problem is, we’re having tile laid, so all of our kitchen is in the garage and all our living room is smooshed onto the other side.
Maybe I’ll just open the umbrella and see how far it carries the table.
I’m not terribly worried…I’ll just bring in the plastic chairs from the back yard, and bring in the trash can…well, and all the pets, of course.
We’ve been instructed to turn off our computers when we leave today, and cover the monitors with plastic in case the roof leaks. They don’t worry about rain during our numerous afternoon thunderstorms, but today, we’re supposed to use plastic.
