I’ll agree with C_Goat.
Some people like to drive fast and they do it SKILLFULLY.
Others are just plain dangerous assholes.

The latter are the ones that piss me off.

Just a note:

From Rules of the Road: North Dakota State Learner’s Permit Handbook:

Unless otherwise marked, the speed limit on rural interstate highways is 70 M.P.H. as conditions permit or the same speed as other traffic.

Unless otherwise marked, the speed limit on urban interstate highways, any divided highway with more than two lanes on each side of the median, or any other rural divided highway is 55 M.P.H. as weather permits or the same speed as other traffic.

Unless otherwise marked, the speed limit on commercial roadways is 35 M.P.H. as weather permits or the same speed as other traffic

And so on and so forth.

The basic point here is “or the same speed as other traffic”. There is a paragraph in the handbook that explains the “the same speed as other traffic”.

The speed of other traffic is simply defined as a speed that will not hamper the rest of traffic by being too fast or too slow.

So, in my state…if you’re driving faster than everyone else, you’re speeding.
