I haven’t been able to find any information on the internet about Hypobaric Treatment for Parkinson’s. Let me rephrase that…I haven’t found any information not published by a facility urging the use of their Hypobaric Treatment Center. Is there information available from an unbiased source specifically regarding the effectiveness of hypobaric treatment? I understand that it is new, but I would like to be able to ask my neurologist informed questions.
Google Scholar searches lead me to conclude that hypobaric conditions contribute to Parkinson’s disease. I don’t find anyone using low pressure conditions to try to treat the condition.
However, the Scholar searches yield a lot of positive results about the opposite type of treatment you are suggesting, hyperbaric oxygen treatment.
I shall try that instead. Thank you.
